Babcock makes move into cyber market

Babcock International Group has announced the acquisition Context Information Security (ContextIS) in a £32 million transaction.

 

ContextIS, based in London with offices in Germany and Australia, provides specialist technical consultancy services in the cyber security market and generated a revenue of £10 million in FY2013.

 

The company is certified under the Government Cyber Incident Response scheme together with its competitors BAE’s Detica, Mandiant, Dell Secureworks and MWR Telecom.
