AUVSI 2012: Silvus Technologies launches new MIMO radio

Silvus Technologies has used AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America conference and exhibition to launch its new SC3800 radio.

The newest addition to its family of  multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communications systems provides bi-directional communication 'that allows you to have more data over wider distances', Jimi Henderson, VP of sales for the company told Shephard.

'There's nothing quite like what we're doing on the market today.'

The SC3800 is available in a ruggedised IP67 chassis or as a PCB board stack for embedded installations, and its new network management GUI provides an 'intuitive way for the operator to immediately evaluate the
