AFCEA West 2012: Cambium unveils news ruggedised radio
Cambium Network has launched the RDB 350 ruggedised radio to serve as a deployable COTS solution for the military.
Speaking at the AFCEA West conference in San Diego, US on 26 January, Scott Imhoff, director of business development for the company, said there are orders for the system that are due to shipped, and it is 'a very straight solution to deploy'.
'We are trying to minimise the engagement the warfighter has to make. We have developed a cost effective but highly capable platform,' Imhoff said.
The system does not need to be programmed in the field, and Cambium is using
