How UAE defence giant EDGE Group plans to double its exports
The UAE defence conglomerate has put an aggressive strategy in place to increase its share of exports while navigating the growing gap between East and West.
Delta Air Lines has announced increased westbound service from three North Dakota cities to be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines using 50-seat CRJ200s and 70-seat CRJ700s.
The expanded services will feature two new daily round-trip flights between Delta’s Salt Lake City hub and Bismarck and Minot, as well as an additional daily round-trip flight between Salt Lake City and Fargo.
With the summer 2010 schedule, Delta plans to offer North Dakota customers 34 peak-day departures from six airports – nine from Bismarck; two from Devils Lake; nine from Fargo; five from Grand Forks; two from Jamestown; and seven from Minot. The new flights from Minot will be the first ever offered to the Salt Lake City hub.
In addition to expanded service to Salt Lake City, Delta offers daily flights between the six North Dakota airports it serves and its hub at Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The new daily nonstop service between Bismarck and Salt Lake City will begin on 3 May with outbound service from SLC, the first inbound to the hub being the following day. Operated with CRJ200s, the service will become double daily on 10 June.
Introduction of the Minot–Salt Lake City service will replicate the Bismarck route, beginning with the outbound from SLC on 3 May and going double daily on 10 June.
The expanded CRJ700 daily nonstop service between Fargo and Salt Lake City adds a 13:45 departure from SLC, with the return from Fargo leaving at 17:35.
