Czechs break new ground with export support agency
Aiming to promote sales of military equipment at the intergovernmental level, the Czech Republic approved the creation of the Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation Agency (AMOS), to support national defence companies and provide liaison between them and foreign states.
AMOS will start operations on 15 March, making the Czech Republic the first country in Central and Eastern Europe to have an agency promoting national military products at the government-to-government level.
