Brazilian service chiefs seek more investment in new capabilities
More investment in new capabilities for the Brazilian Armed Forces is essential to maintain readiness, according to the chiefs of the three armed services and Minister of Defence Fernando Azevedo e Silva.
Speaking on 13 November during a webinar organised by the Brazilian MoD, Azevedo (a former Chief of Staff of the Brazilian Army) emphasised that one of his priorities is to overhaul, enhance and modernise equipment operated by the air force, army and navy.
