Poland and Korea to deepen defence ties
Poland and Korea have announced their intention to further defence cooperation with the ‘start of concrete initiatives’ during a visit of the Korean Defense Acquisition and Procurement Agency (DAPA) to Poland.
‘Korea is famous for high quality products – that is why I hope military cooperation will develop,’ said Minister of National Defence Tomasz Siemoniak on 26 May.
He added that there is potential for collaboration in air force or air defence domains including the transfer of technology.
In October 2013, the countries established a strategic partnership and a subsequent defence cooperation laid the foundation for export of Korean training
