​US Navy increases Saudi MH-60R support

The USN has awarded Sikorsky a modified $19 million contract to support the service’s Saudi Arabia MH-60R Seahawk FMS work.

A recent US Department of Defense announcement confirmed the focus of the amended contract ‘provides for non-recurring engineering and project support management’ and will see the manufacturer carry out the work in Stratford, Connecticut, Troy, Alabama and Owego, New York. 

A date of December 2019 has been set for the work to be completed.

Currently, 10 Royal Saudi Naval Forces aircraft are under contract and are set for delivery between mid-2018 and mid-2019.

Sikorsky has previously delivered 24 FMS Seahawks
