T129 Atak ready for Kazakh MoD’s fleet

Kazakhstan is being considered as one of many potential export customers for the T129 Atak helicopter. The Turkish company expects that in the coming years Astana will start preparations to modernise its fleet of attack helicopters, opening the window of opportunity for several rotary-wing platforms manufacturers, including TAI. 

While talking to Shephard at the KADEX 2018 exhibition, Tamer Özmen, VP for corporate marketing and communications at TAI, believes that the Kazakh MoD will consider the T129 as the best possible solution, he underlined several of its advantages, among others, but mainly the fact that this platform is already combat
