Saudi helicopter renewal gathers momentum

Northrop Grumman has announced its industry team that will compete for the US Army’s Integrated Maintenance Support Services (IMSS) programme.

The IMSS programme will help in the creation of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the National Guard’s helicopter fleet by maximizing aircraft operational capabilities and meet training objectives as it establishes its helicopter capability.

At the I/ITSEC 2013 exhibition Northrop Grumman announced that its team includes AAR, Defense Support Services, LLC (DS2), QinetiQ North America, Vinnell Arabia and Northrop Grumman Aviation Arabia (NGAA). All industry responses to the IMSS programme RFP are due by 23 December.
