Russia’s East European MRO business grows

Russian Helicopters has reported good growth in its MRO business in Eastern Europe. Towards the end of last year there were two major MRO contracts snatched by the Russian helicopter manufacturer, with customers  from NATO member states.

The first of these cover the overhaul of up to 12 Mi-24V/P attack helicopters belonging to the Hungarian military, with an initial budget of €30.4 million ($36 million) for the programme approved in 2017 by the Hungarian government.
