Paris Air Show 2013: International sales of V-22 Osprey predicted to climb
The Bell Boeing V-22 programme is likely to see a significant rise in international orders over the coming years, journalists were told during a programme update at the Paris Air Show on 17 June.
US Marine Corps Col Greg Masiello, V-22 Joint Program Office programme manager, said foreign interest in the airframe had progressed to the point where new orders were imminent, although he would not disclose customer specific details.
‘At this time we are exchanging more than just information with multiple foreign nations, and right now we have more than three [nations] that have progressed beyond the paperwork stage.
