NHI establishes corrosion action plan for NH90s

NHIndustries has finalised an action plan aimed at preventing further occurrence of corrosion issues on its NH90 aircraft.

After feedback from the Dutch MoD, NHI established a task force in late 2013 with the aim of looking into the causes of the corrosion problems encountered by the Dutch military while operating with its new NH90s at sea.

The Dutch deployed two of its NATO Frigate Helicopters (NFH) in 2013, one of which was a Meaningful Operational Capability (MOC) version, the other being an aircraft delivered to Full Operational Capability (FOC) specifications.
