MSPO 2019: Poland breathes life into Kruk programme again
The Polish MoD plans to launch the long-touted tender for the procurement of 32 attack helicopters under the so-called Kruk programme. The multi-billion project is set to become the biggest attack helicopter procurement in Europe when it officially launches next year.
The project is part of Poland’s long-term defence modernisation plan with Wojciech Skurkiewicz, the Polish deputy defence minister releasing some details of the Kruk programme in May.
The tender is set to be launched in 2020, with the initial 16 helicopters required to be delivered by 2026. There have been no announcements from Polish public officials on the
