Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
Qatar NH90 contract comes into effect
Leonardo has made effective the contract for the supply of 28 NH90 medium twin-engine multirole military helicopters to the Qatar Ministry of Defence, the company announced on 20 August.
The company has now booked the order, following the March signing of the contract for 16 NH90s in tactical transport configuration and 12 in naval configuration (NFH).
Under the contract, Leonardo acts as a prime contractor for programme management for the NHI consortium.
