Kazakhstan orders Mi-35Ms

According to the deputy minister of defence of Kazakhstan, Okas Saparov, the country has ordered an initial batch of Mi-35M attack helicopters.

Saparov revealed that the order comprises four units, all of which are slated to be taken on strength until the year end.

The next batch of deliveries will take place, from 2017 onwards, in order to replace the Soviet-era Mi-24 fleet operated by the Kazakhstan military. 

The news was initially announced by Alexander Shterbinin, deputy director general of Russian Helicopters holding.
