Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is confident that it will be able to announce the first export sale of its T-129 ATAK helicopter, company representatives have revealed.
Speaking at the ILA Berlin Airshow, where the company made the T-129 the centrepiece of its presence, Sunar Oktay, vice president of helicopter programmes for TAI, said the company had received interest from several governments, and was likely to announce its first foreign sale within a month or two.
