ILA 2010: Dutch crews pleased with NH90 capabilities

The Netherlands Defence Helicopter Command has been impressed with the capabilities of the NH90 NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH), according to crews spoken to by Rotorhub.com.

At the ILA Berlin airshow on 8 June the first Netherlands NH90 NFH was on static display, alongside a German Army example of the type.

The aircraft was handed over to the Netherlands Armed Forces in April and is operated by 7 Sqn at De Kooy.

Lt Cdr Eric Mass told Rotorhub.com the NH90 NFH was an ‘impressive machine’.
