Heli-Expo 2017: Cobham launches UK training academy
As exhibitors undergo final preparations for Heli-Expo 2017, Cobham announced the launch of its helicopter training academy in Basingstoke, UK.
The company has been delivering RAF- and EASA-approved training for military and civil helicopter pilots and crew for over 20 years at the UK's Defence Helicopter Flying School. Existing customers include government agencies, militaries, emergency service providers, OEMs, and oil and gas companies.
The new Helicopter Academy will allow Cobham to extend its reach to new customers worldwide, delivering training for a broad spectrum of flight operations, as well as aircraft engineering and technical support training.
