Eurocopter puts new avionics philosophy to the test

16th November 2011 - 17:52 GMT | by Tony Skinner in Marignane, France

Eurocopter has begun to validate the new avionics suite of the EC145T2, with the first prototype to incorporate the company’s new design philosophy taking to the air for the first time on 28 October.

Some 250 hours of flights tests have now been logged, including a series of hot and high tests in the US.
