Dubai Airshow 2017: Bell 505 military trainer ready for Middle East
Bell Helicopter is optimistic that the recently EASA-certified Bell 505 Jet Ranger X will make its mark as a military training helicopter in the Middle East.
A mock-up of the aircraft is present at the Dubai Air Show this week.
On one of the big pushes by the company at the show, David Sale, regional director for the Middle East at Bell Helicopter, said that the 505 'is truly a military trainer'.
‘As these [Middle Eastern] militaries are growing they want to have their own indigenous capability to train,' he added.
