Dubai 2013: MD plans second-generation 530F
MD Helicopters is moving ahead with a major redesign of its MD530F armed helicopter as it targets further parapublic opportunities around the world.
Speaking to the media at the Dubai Air Show, MD Helicopters director for the Middle East and Africa, Perry Orr, revealed that the ‘second generation’ of the 530F would feature a new mission computer, a redesigned weapons stub and increased maximum take-off weight of 3,750lbs.
