DIMDEX 2018: Italy strengthens ties with Qatar
Italy was out in force at this year’s DIMDEX in Qatar with the country securing a deal with the Gulf nation for 28 NH-90 helicopters on the final day of the exhibition with Italy’s Leonardo as prime contractor.
An example of the NH-90 was presented on board the Italian Navy frigate ITS Carlos Margottini during the week. The contract is valued at €3 billion ($3.7 billion) to the NHI consortium and includes 16 NH90 TTH for land operations and 12 NH90 NFH for naval missions.
