Germany to send WS-61 Westland Sea King helicopters to Ukraine
Germany has committed to sending Ukraine six of its 21 retiring WS-61 Westland Sea King multirole, amphibious helicopters.
Bell Helicopter awarded H-1 work
Bell Helicopter has been awarded a delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for engineering and logistics in support of the US Navy’s H-1 rotor brake redesign effort.
The $8.5 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has been awarded by US Naval Air Systems Command.
Under the contract, the company will also deliver three validation/verification kits and associated technical support.
Work on this contract will completed in October 2020.
