Bell Helicopter today announced the Bell Helicopter Training Academy has been awarded a five-year contract with the U.S. Government Service Administration’s (GSA) Acquisition schedule.

The academy’s entire course catalog has been added to the GSA schedule at Bell’s Fort Worth/Alliance location.

The GSA program streamlines the purchasing process for government customers, providing them with a reliable and proven one-stop resource for discounted “best-value” prices for services at the Bell academy.

“Providing our customers with one-stop solution for their training needs is a priority for the Bell Helicopter Training Academy,” said Trey Wade, director of the academy. “We recognise that our government customers need an effective and efficient way to purchase training services. We are confident this contract will provide a key customer segment with a quick and cost-effective solution to all of their helicopter training needs.”

“This program will allow state and local government entities to take advantage of the purchasing power of the federal government,” said Patrick Crippen, business development manager.
