US-based MRO specialist AeroBrigham has been awarded a systems integration contract for nine Bell 429 helicopters to be delivered to the Jamaican Defence Force between July 2020 and Q1 FY2021.

Work is being carried out on first two airframes at the main AeroBrigham facility in Decatur, Texas. The airframes will include L3 Falcon III multi-channel airborne networking radios, which will feature mission-critical voice with high-speed IP-networked data and full-motion video.

David Brigham, co-owner of AeroBrigham, said: ‘We appreciate the confidence that both Jamaica Defence Forces and our partner CNC Technologies have in our ability to deliver on time and on budget with professional results. We’re open and operating with new protections for our employees and customers.’

AeroBrigham will also carry out installations of the CNC Technologies mission suite, which uses the Churchill Navigation moving map and the WESCAM MX-1 GEN IV camera system.
