KBR wins task order to support US guided missile programmes
KBR has obtained a $165 million task order from the US Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space, for engineering services on tactical missile systems.
This is part of a multiple-award contract from the DoD Information Analysis Center, and it follows engineering services work from KBR under a previous agreement.
KBR will conduct the work for the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office. It will research, develop, test, evaluate and integrate tactical rocket and missile systems, ancillary launchers and test sets.
The TAGM Project Office oversees guided missile programmes such as the AGM-114 Hellfire and the AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (pictured).
