  Otokar unveiled the Tulpar IFV at Turkey’s IDEF defence exhibition in May 2013. It has been designed to be carried by the A400M strategic transport aircraft and will target customers in the export market.

  Steadfast Defender 24 (STDE24), the main NATO multi-domain exercise for 2024, has seen large-scale national and multinational live exercises taking place across the whole NATO area. Among the challenges it has attempted to tackle have been the increased lethality of uncrewed systems and how to enhance amphibious landings in cold environments.

  The High Mobility Transporter (HMT) range of vehicles, developed in the 1990s, has been available in 4x4 HMT 400, 6x6 HMT 600 and convertible Extenda configurations. Known as Jackal in UK service, a new substantially improved Jackal 3 has been unveiled.

  A total of 122 Dutch CV9035NL vehicles are undergoing an update with an option for 19 more under a $500 million contract announced in January 2021. Upgrades have been underway on the first four vehicles in Sweden as Netherlands-based Van Halteren Metaal gets ready to begin series production.
