UGV weaponised with Javelin
Estonian company Milrem has unveiled a new weapon configuration for its Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System (THeMIS) that utilises the Kongsberg Protector RWS integrated with a Javelin anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launcher.
The new integration is a first for the THeMIS which is on display at this week's Ground Robotics Capabilities Exhibition & Conference 2017 in Virginia and being positioned for future US military requirements.
Milrem has teamed with both Kongsberg and QinetiQ North America to demonstrate the new armed variant. The UGV utilises QinetiQ NA's universal Tactical Robot Controller (TRC) which brings commonality with the company's other robots in
