Thailand willingly submits to Dominator

Thailand is buying Dominator XP long-endurance UAVs from Aeronautics in Israel, according to a report to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange on 30 July.

The deal, worth $27 million, will be spread over three years.

However, it is not known how many airframes Thailand is purchasing. They will presumably be operated by the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).

The Dominator XP is essentially a Diamond Aircraft DA42 Twin Star turboprop converted into a UAV. The airframe provides a considerable payload of 373kg and it possesses an endurance of more than 20h.
