Talisman Sabre 2019: Australian UGVs are put to work

The Australian Army is utilising the opportunities that Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 presents to continue testing of six Mission Adaptable Platform System (MAPS) 6x6 UGVs produced by Praesidium Global.

These MAPS Mules, now in their Mk 7 configuration, are being trialled by the 9th Force Support Battalion of the 17th Combat Service Support Brigade, as well as the 2nd General Health Battalion. The first unit has four UGVs, and the latter two.

Both these units received contractor training by Praesidium Global at their barracks in April-May, and the UGVs are now undergoing Phase 1 verification trials in the field during
