Taiwan’s coast guard selects UAVs

Taiwan’s Coast Guard Administration (CGA) has decided to purchase 20 rotary-winged UAVs from Avix Tech, a Taiwanese manufacturer based in Taichung, in a contract valued at $4.25 million.

The acquisition of AXH-E230RS UAVs represents the CGA’s largest UAV procurement to date. The project will see eight UAVs inducted by the end of 2018, and the remaining 12 by May 2019.
