Spain nears Predator B club membership

Spain has moved a step closer to joining the Predator B club following an announcement by the US Department of Defense (DoD) of a more than $56 million contract action order for the supply of MQ-9 aircraft and equipment.

Awarding the contract to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) last week the DoD stated that the deal would see the contractor provide the unmanned platforms and associated material and support and is expected to be completed by 31 January 2019.
