Saab Bonefish proceeds apace

After relinquishing cooperation with Indonesian firm PT Lundin, Saab Australia is developing its Bonefish USV for potential defence and commercial customers. 

At the Pacific 2015 International Maritime Exposition in Sydney from 6-8 October, Saab exhibited a Bonefish mission control system that could be fitted to a rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB) to give it an unmanned capability. 

An on-water validation test of the complete system is expected in early 2016.
