More Bonefish tests ahead

Saab Australia is excited about the prospects of its Bonefish USV Down Under, as its development continues.

The latest series of talks suggests that it could be trialled on Royal Australian Navy (RAN) ships.

Derek Rogers, head of Saab’s Centre of Excellence in Autonomous Vessels, told Shephard, ‘We’ve been in good discussions with members of the RAN and the Defence, Science and Technology Group about the potential for installing our system on two different vessels working towards a major demonstration of capability.’
