RNZN upgrades to SeeTrack V4 UUV software
SeeByte has confirmed that the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) has upgraded its unmanned maritime system from SeeTrack V3 to SeeTrack V4.
The latest software will provide the most updated solutions, which in turn will maximise the capabilities of the UUV fleet. The C2 software allows users to improve their situational awareness during demanding operations.
Alastair Cormack, Technical Client Manager at SeeByte, said: ‘This update will enable the Navy to use our latest generation of software tools to enable important decisions to be made using the best quality of information available.’
In May 2020, the Belgian Navy bought SeeTrack V4 licences for use by trainees attending the Belgian-Dutch Naval Mine Warfare school (EGUERMIN).
