MSPO 2019: SW-4 no longer solo with partnerships afoot
Leonardo’s SW-4 Solo RPAS is looking forward to a number of different projects that will see it partner with a variety of European agencies as a means to further explore capability maturity and technology scalability.
Those plans include a Mediterranean Sea demonstration under the European Defence Agency’s flagship Ocean 2020 programme set to begin in November, which will be followed by the aircraft completing the Helimaris Programme with Polish industry and academia - which aims to develop a naval variant of the Solo.
