Drone detection and countermeasures were abundant in their design and capability at the Counter-Terror and Security Expo at the Olympia in London this week, as company officials spoke of a change in the market from merely potential, to actual opportunity.

The past 12-18 months has seen a growth spurt for the sector, as rumours and actual incidents of near-misses with manned aviation, intrusions into the private lives of the great and the good, as well as the threats posed by non-state actors, serving as a protein boost to the industrial tech-shake.
