IDEF 2013: TAI pursues Anka production contract
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is confident it has resolved the technical issues which saw a prototype Anka MALE UAV crash during acceptance testing in September 2012.
The prototype aircraft was lost at the start of acceptance following an unspecified technical problem, forcing a redesign of the platform.
However, a company spokesman told Shephard that the root cause of the crash had been identified and it was determined to be an isolated problem.
