FIDAE: Argentine UAVs revealed
Argentine company Mundo Compuesto (MCOM) Special Developments has provided information about its developmental MCOM UAV at FIDAE.
The UAV has a wingspan of 4.2m and is 3.6m-long. It weighs 65lb dry and has a maximum take-off weight of 125lb.
Fitted with a 150cc gas engine and with a fuel capacity of eight gallons, the MCOM UAVjavascript:mctmp(0); can reach a maximum speed of 125mph (200km/h) with a cruising speed of 65mph.
The UAV has a flight ceiling of 5000ft and a duration of up to eight hours with a payload of 60lb that includes the fuel.
