Exocetus eyes new markets after acquisition

Following on from the acquisition of the rights to the Coastal Glider AUV, officials at Exocetus Autonomous Systems are looking to expand usage in the defence and commercial sectors.

Capable of carrying a 5kg payload the Coastal Glider is one reputed to be the fastest glider of its kind, according to officials.

The company was present at the three-day Ocean Business 2017 at the National Oceanographic Centre in Southampton, which ran from 4-6 April.
