D&S 2015: Serbian UAVs break cover

Serbia, via Yugoimport, promoted two UAV platforms to Thailand and the Southeast Asian region at the Defence & Security 2015 exhibition in Bangkok.

The two designs were the long-range Pegasus (pictured above) and the short-range Sparrow.

Marko Stojanović, from Yugoimport’s promotion department, said both platforms came from a preceding medium-range UAV design from the national Military Technical Institute.

The Pegasus (Pegaz), ‘a long-range tactical UAV for day and night reconnaissance and surveillance missions, target acquisition and designation,’ is presently still in development, although Stojanović believed this should be completed in 2016.
