UAV Vision, an Australian-based manufacturer specialising in gimbal manufacturing for both manned and unmanned craft, announced in early April that its CM100 product has been successfully integrated onto the Aerosonde UAV.

The CM100 gyro-stabilised gimbal was fitted to an AAI Corporation Aerosonde Mk4.7J craft, with the Australian company stating it was ‘the perfect opportunity to assess the ease of integration and operational performance of the latest CM100 variant’.

A UAV Vision spokesman commented, ‘After streamlined integration efforts, the successful pairing confirms the CM100’s reputation as an established and well-suited EO and IR gimbal for unmanned aerial vehicles.’
