Norwegian company Prox Dynamics is showing off an improved version of its nano drone at Xponential, called the Black Hornet 2.

The nano drone weighs just 18g and is designed to be used at the squad level by an individual soldier. It can relay video and still images with a datalink capability of 1.6km, and an endurance of 25 minutes.

The British Army and Norwegian Armed Forces are both users of the system, with the former using them extensively in Afghanistan.

Arne Skjaerpe, general manager of Prox Dynamics, talks to Shephard about the Black Hornet 2 and its capabilities.
