I/ITSEC 2016: Pentagon selects DiSTI for C-RAM LPWS

US company DiSTI, the provider of graphical user interface software and customised 3D virtual maintenance training solutions, has been selected by PEO STRI as prime contractor to supply operator and maintenance trainer (OMT) courseware for the C-RAM LPWS programme.

This $2.8 million contract will see the company develop training for the Counter – Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM), Land-Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) OMT using the company’s VE Studio software to provide an immersive 3D interactive environment.

As the prime contractor for the C-RAM LPWS OMT, DiSTI will provide a fully integrated solution incorporating the 3D interactive virtual environment,
