I/ITSEC 2016: Barco unveils the F70
Although seen by Shephard in 2015 in a whisper suite, I/ITSEC 2016 saw Barco unveil its F70 4K projector to the public. The laser phosphor F70 has been specifically designed for the simulation market and with its UHD resolution and high brightness, the company says that it is, ‘the most advanced [projector] on the market today.’
The projector was on the Barco booth at the show, but the real action was on the Air National Guard (ANG) booth where Immersive Display Solutions had integrated F70 projectors into a multi-channel F-16/JTAC demonstration that also featured MetaVR’s VRSG image
