Lockheed Martin awarded LCS Freedom variant trainer contract
Lockheed Martin has received a $20.7 million contract for work related to Littoral Combat Ship Freedom variant Integrated Tactical Trainer devices, the US Department of Defense announced on 4 November.
The company will carry out design, fabrication, procurement, delivery, installation, integration, configuration, technical documentation, test, modernisation and concurrency of the trainer devices installed at US Naval Station Mayport, Florida; and US Naval Station San Diego, California.
Work will be completed in March 2022.
