ITEC 2017: More UAE success for CAE

Following on from last year’s selection of CAE by the UAE armed forces to build a naval training centre, helicopter simulators and the establishment of a CAE subsidiary in that country, the company has now been awarded another contract for what it terms is ‘a comprehensive training solution for remotely piloted aircraft (RPA).’

Within the scope of the US$41 million five-year contract issued by the General Headquarters (GHQ) of the UAE on behalf of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, CAE will provide ‘an integrated training solution that includes academic, simulator, and live flying training for the UAE Air
