As military training in Europe continues to move towards simulation CAE is well placed to provide its expertise to nations wishing to enhance their simulation capabilities.
Marc-Olivier Sabourin, VP and general manager for Europe at CAE, said that the two main drivers in Europe are the requirement for 50% of training to be simulated and moving from simple operation training to more mission focused training.
Sabourin spoke to Shephard about some of CAE's ongoing programmes within Europe, including work with Germany, Italy and the UK.
