ITEC 2017: Fire Blade training lights up

The European Defence Agency is in the midst of the 11th exercise Fire Blade which will provide tactical training under the agency's Helicopter Exercise Programme (HEP).

Taking place at Papa Airbase in Hungary between 1 and 12 May 2017, it offers an opportunity for participating member states to train together and improve tactics and interoperability, this includes the coordination and integration of Joint Terminal Air Controllers (JTAC's) into live fire scenarios.

Participants will also have the chance to plan and execute Composite Air Operation (COMAO) missions within a joint and combined framework.
